✅ Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following:
- Passed ABET Level 4 or Grade 12
- Basic literacy skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to plan and organise work effectively
- Knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment
- Ability to operate basic cleaning machinery
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety will be an added advantage
🧹 Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- General cleaning of buildings and offices
- Emptying dustbins and disposing of waste
- Dusting and polishing furniture
- Cleaning windows, walls, floors, and carpets
- Deep cleaning of toilets and wash areas
- Refilling toilet paper and hand-washing soap dispensers
- Cleaning kitchen areas and utensils
- Reporting defects noticed during cleaning
- Warning staff about slippery or unsafe floors
- Offloading delivered materials
- Arranging and maintaining storerooms
