✅ Requirements:
PND 1:
- Basic qualification (Diploma/Degree) accredited with SANC for registration as Professional Nurse (attach SANC receipt).
- Post-basic qualification in Nursing Education registered with SANC.
- Minimum 4 years’ appropriate/recognizable nursing experience after registration as Professional Nurse (General Nursing).
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Presentation skills and ability to teach students.
PND 2:
- Basic qualification (Diploma/Degree) accredited with SANC for registration as Professional Nurse (attach SANC receipt).
- Post-basic qualification in Nursing Education registered with SANC.
- Minimum 14 years’ appropriate/recognizable nursing experience after registration as Professional Nurse (General Nursing).
- At least 10 years of that experience must be in Nursing Education after obtaining the post-basic Nursing Education qualification.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Presentation skills and ability to teach students.
📌 Duties:
- Provide education and training for student nurses.
- Coordinate clinical learning exposure between college and clinical areas.
- Support the mission and image of FSSON.
- Implement assessment strategies to evaluate learner competencies.
- Exercise control over students.
- Provide Occupational Health services to FSSON staff and students.
- Manage and monitor the use of human, financial, and physical resources.
- Plan, organize, and manage training programs to meet outcomes.
- Facilitate classroom teaching and learning.
- Allocate and monitor clinical placements of learners in approved facilities.
- Facilitate and monitor community-based education at campus level.
