✅ Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- PSIRA Grade C registration (mandatory).
- No prior experience required – entry-level opportunity.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Basic Security Officer Training completed.
Competencies
- Generic: Quality of work, initiative, reliability, interpersonal relations, teamwork, communication (verbal & written), planning and execution.
- Technical: Knowledge of the national security environment, security policies, public security and access control legislation, Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS) Act, and relevant emergency procedures.
🛡️ Duties
As a Security Officer, you will:
- Ensure effective access control functions.
- Patrol and monitor the premises for safety.
- Maintain accurate and complete security registers.
