🌟 Position Purpose
Transnet Port Terminals and Academy invites dynamic, recently qualified graduates to join their Young Professional-in-Training Programme.
This 24-month structured programme is designed to provide graduates with practical workplace experience, mentorship, and organizational support to kickstart their professional careers.
📌 Key Responsibilities
As a Young Professional-in-Training, you will:
- Shadow experienced staff and learn from mentors.
- Participate in workshops, meetings, and structured learning programmes.
- Gain exposure to multiple functions within Transnet.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide updates.
- Address queries efficiently and professionally.
- Assist with administrative tasks, research, and reporting.
- Execute assigned project tasks individually and collaboratively.
- Deliver high-quality work outputs that support client solutions.
🎓 Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/BTech/Diploma in one of the following fields:
- Management Accounting
- Economics
- Marketing
- Financial Management
- Financial Accounting
- Business Management
- Logistics
- 0–1 year of relevant work experience (graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply).
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Age: 18–35 years.
