Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is seeking talented individuals with relevant skills and experience for Warehouse Operator roles based in Midrand. The key purpose of this role is to execute warehouse activities according to the issued plan while maintaining required operational efficiency standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure all trucks/trailers are loaded on time and in full as per the issued plan.
  • Maintain compliance with model stock layout for all SKUs.
  • Remove stock from production lines to prevent disruptions due to forklift availability.
  • Pick loads accurately and on time.
  • Adhere to housekeeping standards and operational processes.
  • Meet personal operational efficiency standards.
  • Care for assets according to standard operational practices.
  • Follow stock management processes, including daily inventory counting.
  • Ensure pallets are stretch-wrapped according to standards.
  • Sort all returns from trade, including good stock, crates, and trade replacements.
  • Repack damaged products as needed.

Key Attributes & Competencies

Knowledge

  • Understanding of warehouse processes and performance measures.
  • Familiarity with asset care processes.

Skills

  • Application of warehouse knowledge.
  • Proficiency in operating specific assets (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Ability to use mobile devices required for the job (e.g., Handheld Terminals – HHTs).
  • Literacy and numeracy skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12/Matric.
  • Conversant in English (as a home language or first additional language).
  • 6–12 months of relevant warehouse experience (e.g., load making, forklift operation).
  • Valid forklift driver license is an advantage (training provided if successful).
  • Clear criminal and credit check.
  • Willingness to work overtime and shifts.
