Job Details
- Position: Court Interpreter (3 Posts)
- Salary: R228,321 – R268,950 per annum
- Contract: Successful candidates will sign a performance agreement

Requirements
- Education: NQF Level 4 / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Languages: Proficiency in English and one or more indigenous languages
- Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Time management and computer literacy
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Planning and organizing skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure
Duties
- Interpret in Criminal, Civil, Labour Courts, and quasi-judicial proceedings
- Provide interpretation during consultations
- Translate legal documents and exhibits
- Record cases in the criminal record book
- Retrieve case records as requested by Magistrates and Prosecutors
- Maintain accurate statistical records
