✔ Degree or B-Tech in Policing (NQF Level 7)
✔ 10 years’ experience, including 4 years of proven managerial experience

✔ No criminal record

Primary Function:
The successful candidate will lead and oversee the strategic, tactical, and operational functions of the JMPD operation. This includes:
- Traffic Policing
- Policing of Municipal By-Laws and Regulations
- Crime Prevention
- Administration of Traffic & By-Law Infringements
- Managing the Back Office for Advanced Law Enforcement Management Systems (ALECRAMS)
Key Performance Areas:
🔹 Oversee the administration and management of traffic law infringement and municipal by-law offences.
🔹 Develop pre-emptive safety and security strategies.
🔹 Manage and ensure high-quality service delivery to communities.
🔹 Maintain road traffic efficiency and enforce municipal by-laws.
🔹 Lead public education and awareness programs on law enforcement.
🔹 Oversee budgetary processes related to by-law enforcement.
🔹 Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and SOPs to minimize risks and litigation.
🔹 Monitor and manage personnel performance within the department.
