Duties and Responsibilities
Driver Operators will perform the following duties:
• Inspect and check the condition of the vehicle regularly
• Report vehicle defects immediately to supervisors
• Drive light and medium vehicles to transport passengers and items
• Provide administrative and messenger services
• Collect and dispatch documents and goods when required
• Maintain vehicle logbooks and records
• Ensure the vehicle remains in good working condition
• Follow transport legislation and departmental procedures
• Be willing to work irregular hours when required
