What You’ll Do
As a Porter, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring patients and hospital operations are supported efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely transporting patients on trolleys and wheelchairs to various hospital areas.
- Assisting with the removal of bodies from wards with sensitivity and care.
- Collecting and delivering blood specimens, blood hampers, and patient folders.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment to ensure it’s in good working condition.
- Promoting a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Building positive relationships to foster a collaborative workplace.
- Adhering to the hospital’s dress code and code of conduct.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate with:
- Minimum Qualifications: Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience: Relevant experience and knowledge of working in a hospital environment.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
