Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Basic literacy and numeracy
- ABET Level 2 or an equivalent qualification recognised by SAQA
- Basic knowledge and understanding of legislation, policies and Acts governing the Public Service
- Planning skills
- Communication skills
- Supervisory skills

Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Controlling the movement of cloven-hoofed animals
- Conducting regular fence patrols
- Controlling and monitoring quarantined animals
- Maintaining accurate records
- Performing general duties related to redline gates and animal-control areas
