Job Description

AFGRI Retail is recruiting a Department Head Admin (Retail) in Balfour, Mpumalanga. The position is responsible for maintaining administrative processes, stock controls, cash administration and branch documentation in line with AFGRI requirements and standards.

Applicants require Grade 12 and 3 years of relevant administrative experience.

Job Details

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy – MS Office
• Good customer service skills

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Handle employee-related matters and branch correspondence
• Check incoming documents and direct them to the relevant working areas
• Oversee stock counting
• Investigate stock variances
• Run price-analysis reports
• Collect and process petty cash where applicable
• Manage the cash control account
• Reconcile cash and make bank deposits
• Report abnormal administrative situations
• Ensure filing is completed timeously
• Ensure compliance with the AFGRI control matrix, policies and procedures
• Assist the Branch Manager with administrative functions during their absence
• Complete IOD reports
