About the Artisan: Millwright Role Clover is recruiting 5 qualified Millwrights in Queensburgh to perform electro-mechanical maintenance and repair work on plant equipment.

This permanent position is responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, minimising downtime, and maintaining high safety, quality, and operational standards in a food manufacturing environment. It is ideal for experienced, proactive Millwrights with strong fault-finding and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
• Maintain and repair plant and equipment to ensure optimal reliability and availability
• Conduct fault-finding and analysis of machine condition and failures
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on processing, steam, refrigeration, and water equipment
• Optimise machines with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Provide technical and specialist support to maintenance and production teams
• Inspect and test equipment as per ELKE schedule
• Complete job cards and update records
• Increase machine availability through modifications
• Ensure process control software is backed up and up to date
• Participate in Way Better teams

Requirements

• Trade Tested Millwright (non-negotiable)
• N Levels in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering OR National Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum 3+ years technical experience in a food manufacturing plant
• Strong technical knowledge in:
  • Electrical: VSD, Motors, Lighting, Generators, HVAC, Blowers, Fault finding
  • Mechanical: Gearbox, Pumps, Flanges, Seals, Fabrication
  • Steam Reticulation, Air Reticulation, Water Reticulation, Effluent/Sewer systems
  • High Speed Machinery, Packaging Machinery, PLC, SCADA, Pneumatic & Electrical controls
  • Civils and building maintenance
• Toolbox (own tools)
• Willing to work overtime, shifts, weekends, public holidays, and standby duties
• Willing to work in extreme conditions and confined spaces
