Salary

  • Basic Salary: R220,248 – R305,904 per annum
  • Estimated Remuneration Package: R312,269 – R421,293 per annum

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will provide a professional driver messenger service by transporting documents, goods, and equipment while ensuring efficient administrative support across the City of Tshwane.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 10
  • Relevant working experience
  • Valid Code B driver’s licence
  • Physically fit and healthy
  • Ability to walk long distances
  • Ability to handle trolleys and carry documents
  • Must pass a criminal record check
  • Willing to provide fingerprints at own cost for the Tshwane Metro Police Department

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive between municipal buildings and depots
  • Collect and deliver mail, documents, and goods
  • Transport documents after hours and on weekends when required
  • Assist with transporting goods for municipal events
  • Maintain municipal vehicles
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections
  • Complete fuel and kilometre log sheets
  • Report accidents and vehicle damages
  • Comply with City of Tshwane fleet policies
  • Assist with moving furniture and equipment
  • Make photocopies when required
