- Basic Salary: R357,972 – R497,184 per annum
- Estimated Remuneration Package: R488,598 – R665,789 per annum
Job Purpose
The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that all street fire hydrants throughout the City of Tshwane remain fully operational through regular inspections, maintenance, servicing, and testing to support effective firefighting operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- At least 1 year’s relevant experience in a fire hydrant maintenance environment
- Valid Code B driver’s licence
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Good physical and medical fitness
- Willingness to work at any fire station within Tshwane
- Willingness to work standby duties, weekends, public holidays, and after hours
- Must pass a criminal record check

- Plumbing qualification or N4 in Plumbing
