About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning and housekeeping standards across commercial facilities. The role involves cleaning offices, reception areas, toilets, and other workspaces while ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12 Certificate

Skills and Competencies

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Good communication skills
• Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices
• Knowledge of facility layouts
• Knowledge of cleaning products and their applications
• Ability to use a variety of cleaning equipment and materials

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Cleaning offices, reception areas, toilets, and other facilities
• Cleaning equipment, state property, and assets
• Using cleaning materials and equipment efficiently
• Emptying office dustbins and disposing of waste correctly
• Collecting recyclable paper for disposal
• Cleaning bathrooms throughout the day
• Dusting office furniture
• Vacuuming carpets
• Cleaning internal windows on a rotational schedule
• Storing cleaning equipment and products neatly
• Assisting with boardroom meeting preparations
• Complying with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements
• Maintaining good communication and workplace morale
• Performing additional duties as required
