• PN-B2: R607 350.00 – R752 913.00 per annum Plus Benefits

Job Purpose To provide advanced primary health care services, including health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care in line with the scope of practice for Clinical Nurse Practitioners.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
• Basic R425 qualification (Diploma or Degree in Nursing) or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse
• Post-basic qualification (minimum 1 year) in Diploma in Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment and Care (R48), accredited with SANC
• Grade 1: Minimum of 4 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing
• Grade 2: Minimum of 14 years appropriate/recognisable experience after registration as a Professional Nurse, of which at least 10 years must be after obtaining the 1-year post-basic qualification

Other Skills / Requirements

• Valid ID
• Ability to plan and organise own work and that of support personnel
• Effective communication (verbal & written) and report writing skills
• Ability to work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)
• Uncompromising concern for patients and adherence to Batho Pele principles
• Understanding of nursing legislation and related legal frameworks
• Competency in the Ideal Health Facility Realisation Programme and Office of the Health Standards Compliance (OHSC) prescripts
• Valid driver’s licence and computer literacy are added advantages
