Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is recruiting a Special Events Driver in Rustenburg, Gauteng. This is a permanent position within Commercial – Sales and Marketing.

The successful candidate will drive, operate and maintain roadshow and delivery trucks while supporting event transportation, stock deliveries, branding and equipment activations.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 / Matric – Essential
  • Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence with PDP – Essential
  • 2–4 years’ driving, logistics, fleet or FMCG operational support experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to travel extensively

Experience transporting event equipment, stock or promotional materials will be advantageous.

Exposure to customer-facing or event operational environments is preferred.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Transport event stock, branding materials and equipment
  • Transport trailers, coolers, gazebos and promotional assets
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections
  • Keep vehicles and transport equipment clean and roadworthy
  • Report vehicle maintenance requirements
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown
  • Assist with branding placement
  • Load and offload stock
  • Support event asset recovery
  • Safeguard event stock, equipment and promotional materials
  • Follow road-safety and SHEQ requirements
  • Plan efficient transport routes
  • Support customers, venue teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Work with Coordinators, Assistants, warehouse teams and event crews
  • Report vehicle incidents, damage and operational risks
  • Support improvements in transport efficiency and fleet utilisation
