About the Role
The Controller will be responsible for procurement administration, budget monitoring, stock control, reporting, warehouse administration and team supervision.
The successful candidate will support operational managers by ensuring accurate reporting, efficient stock management, cost control and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Administration
- Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Manage goods receipt processing
- Provide procurement administration support on SAP and COUPA systems
- Maintain accurate administrative records and filing systems
Budget & Cost Control
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Monitor operational expenditure (OPEX)
- Conduct monthly variance analysis
- Ensure correct allocation of costs to cost centres
- Track expenditure against approved budgets
Stock & Warehouse Management
- Coordinate monthly stock takes
- Manage stock balancing activities
- Administer stock losses and write-offs
- Support inventory control processes
- Ensure accurate stock records
Reporting & Operations
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Analyse expenditure trends and operational performance
- Support operational planning and service delivery improvements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
Team Supervision
- Supervise administrative staff
- Coordinate shift rosters and task allocation
- Support employee performance and development
- Promote teamwork and positive staff relations
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with SAP procedures
- Maintain ISO and SABS standards
- Support housekeeping and 5S audit requirements
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures

- Timely submission of operational reports
- Truck turnaround times within target
- Accurate stock counts and stock management
- Compliance with SAP, ISO and company procedures

Minimum Requirements
Qualification
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related field
Experience
- Experience in warehouse administration
- Experience in stock control and inventory management
- Working knowledge of SAP systems
- Experience in reporting and operational administration
