Job Overview

TsAfrika Catering Solutions (part of Tsebo Solutions Group) is looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our team in Kempton Park, Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, recipes, and portion standards
• Assist with food preparation, ingredient handling, and meal service
• Ensure food is presented attractively and served on time
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness
• Assist with stock control, rotation, and minimizing food wastage
• Support the Chef and kitchen team with daily operations
• Step in to manage the kitchen when required (in the absence of the Head Chef or Sous Chef)
• Adhere to all health, safety, and company policies

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Relevant Food Preparation or Culinary qualification (advantageous)
• 2–3 years experience in a similar role (catering, hospitality, healthcare, or food service)
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts (including weekends and public holidays)
