About the Courier Role Lancet Laboratories is recruiting a Courier in Kimberley to ensure the safe, timeous collection and delivery of specimens, reports, and other goods while providing excellent customer service.

This permanent position is ideal for reliable, customer-focused individuals with a valid driver’s licence and experience in courier/delivery work who can maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and professionalism in a medical laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan daily collection and delivery routes
  • Collect and deliver specimens, reports, and other goods from outlying laboratories, doctors, and clients
  • Complete and sign proof of delivery documents
  • Scan specimens and results on the Courier Management Programme for tracking
  • Maintain Lancet assets (vehicles, petrol cards, uniforms) and report faults
  • Utilise protective wear and adhere to Health & Safety regulations
  • Complete incident and accident reports
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and report hazardous spills
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or relevant NQF Level 4 qualification (preferable)
  • Grade 10 with 2–3 years relevant working experience OR minimum 10 years courier experience
  • Valid Code A & B driver’s licence (non-negotiable)
  • Must be able to work different shifts
  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Physically fit and reliable
