About the Driver Salesman Role RCL Foods is recruiting a Driver Salesman in Tzaneen to handle the prompt delivery of Sunbake Bread and confectionery products while actively selling to existing and potential customers.

This permanent position combines driving, sales, and customer service responsibilities. It is ideal for reliable, customer-oriented individuals with a valid driver’s licence and PDP who are motivated to achieve sales targets and maintain excellent service standards in the bakery and FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt transport and efficient delivery of goods (within 48 hours of order)
• Complete all deliveries with accurate invoices and signed Proof of Delivery (POD)
• Maintain high customer satisfaction with zero complaints
• Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of the delivery vehicle (daily tyre pressure checks, cleanliness, scheduled services)
• Renew PDP and driver’s licence before expiry
• Manage stock returns – obtain authorisation from depot manager
• Sell Sunbake Bread and confectionery to customers to maximise sales
• Achieve a daily hit rate of 95%
• Return all crates to the bakery daily
• Reduce write-off to 1% or less
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as required by management

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Valid Driver’s Licence with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• Good communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and reliable
