Job Summary

The Driver / Warehouse Worker is a versatile role responsible for the end-to-end movement of goods. You will perform essential warehouse tasks, such as receiving, picking, and packing, while also operating company vehicles to complete local deliveries and collections.

This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe driving practices.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Matric / High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid C1 Driver’s Licence
  • Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
  • Clean driving record
  • 1–2+ years’ experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery environment preferred
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, frequently up to 25–40 kg
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking
  • Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile devices for routing
  • Forklift Certification is highly advantageous

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery Operations

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
  • Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and associated paperwork.
  • Obtain customer signatures when completing deliveries.

Warehouse & Stock Management

  • Load and unload merchandise.
  • Inspect incoming shipments and verify quantities.
  • Pick, pack and label customer orders.
  • Store received items in designated locations.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory accuracy.
  • Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Safety & Housekeeping

  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
  • Operate forklifts or pallet jacks according to safety protocols.
  • Follow health and safety regulations (OHS).
