Job Description

Empact Group is looking for a Cleaner to join its Food Solutions division in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal.

This is an entry-level, fixed-term contract opportunity. Applicants must have Matric, while previous customer service or corporate cleaning experience will be an advantage.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Matric
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Communication skills
• Good personal appearance and hygiene

Experience

The following will be an advantage:

• Customer service experience
• Previous working experience as a cleaner in a corporate environment

Main Purpose of the Position

The Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning, stocking and supplying assigned areas, inspecting and documenting maintenance activities, and assisting with special cleaning projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Perform a variety of tasks associated with food production.
• Provide general support where required.
• Assist with front-of-house activities.
• Assist with back-of-house activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

Candidates should have:

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Good communication skills
• Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
