About the General Worker Role A leading food production company is recruiting 7 General Workers to support daily operations in the Condensed Milk Tin Packaging Department.

This permanent position involves performing basic operational tasks such as shrink-wrapping, sorting damaged products, loading, cleaning, and other general duties to ensure safe, efficient, and effective production. It is ideal for reliable, hardworking individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment and are willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform basic/general tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Handling and sorting of products
• Shrink-wrapping and packaging support
• Loading and offloading of materials
• Maintain high housekeeping and cleanliness standards
• Comply with all Health and Safety regulations
• Carry out any ad-hoc tasks as required by management

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
• Fluent in Business English
• Physically fit and able to work in extreme conditions
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Must pass Readiness Assessments
• Team player with commitment and motivation
