Job Description

The Limpopo Department of Provincial Treasury is recruiting for a General Worker position within the Directorate: Records Management & Auxiliary Services. The position is based at Head Office in Polokwane and offers a salary of R144 024 per annum (Level 02).

Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Provisioning of general worker services in the Department
  • Cut and maintain trees
  • Maintain departmental yard
  • Perform cleaning task of the building exterior / surrounding
  • Ensure proper handling of garden tools and products
  • Load and off-load furniture, equipment, and any other goods to relevant destination
  • Move materials from storage areas to designated workspaces
  • Label and store material as instructed
  • Perform general duties as allocated by the supervisor
  • Administer efficient working of all industrial truck and electric hoist to assist to load and move all materials
