Company: HEINEKEN Netherlands Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days work from home) Start Date: 1 July 2026 Duration: 6 months (full-time) Allowance: €650 gross per month (based on 40-hour week) + 2 vacation days per month + commuting reimbursement (if no student travel card)

About the Internship HEINEKEN Netherlands is offering a dynamic Packaging Procurement Internship focused on Glass Bottles. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious student to join the Global Procurement Packaging Glass Team at Europe’s biggest brewer.

You will work on real projects, lead your own initiatives under mentorship, develop cost models, rationalise supplier portfolios, and contribute to strategic procurement decisions that impact the entire Heineken business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead your own projects under the guidance of a mentor
  • Perform Tender analysis
  • Develop advanced cost models for transparency across the value chain
  • Enhance and maintain the supplier database and specifications
  • Optimise the supply network and allocation to improve business performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers on cost, sustainability, and innovation

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a higher education institution for the full duration of the internship (proof required)
  • Preferred background: Engineering, Management, Supply Chain, or Analytics
  • Strong Excel & data analysis skills (Pivot Tables, formulas, graphs)
  • Passionate about packaging and procurement
  • Highly assertive with a “get things done” attitude
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Open mindset and comfortable working with people from different cultures
  • For non-EU students: Must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution
