Job Description

Cube Route is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk / Warehouse Inventory Administrator to support warehouse operations by ensuring accurate stock control, efficient receipting, and adherence to operational processes.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Grade 10 qualification
• Grade 12 will be advantageous
• Experience in picking and checking stock
• Basic computer literacy
• Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and manage workload effectively

Advantageous

• Code 10 Driver’s Licence with PDP
• Mobile Hoist Operator Licence
• Experience working with courier companies and dispatch processes

Key Responsibilities

• Complete and file inventory documentation accurately
• Receipt inbound supplier deliveries and region transfers
• Assist with warehouse cycle counts
• Place and follow up on supplier orders
• Investigate out-of-stock, discontinued and short-supplied items
• Process supplier claims for shortages, damages and discrepancies
• Maintain operational reports, metrics and statistics
• Resolve invoice queries and process credit notes
• Ensure picked stock matches picking slips accurately
• Support efficient vehicle loading and dispatch
• Check, pack and dispatch courier orders
• Maintain proper merchandise handling and damage-control procedures
• Keep warehouse and dispatch areas clean and organised
• Support warehouse operations, management and picking teams
• Maintain professional communication across departments
