About the Isuzu Mechanic Role Isuzu South Africa and its authorised dealerships are recruiting qualified Mechanics to service, repair, and maintain Isuzu trucks, buses, and light commercial vehicles.

This hands-on technical role is ideal for experienced diesel/petrol mechanics who enjoy working on commercial vehicles, using diagnostic tools, and delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Isuzu trucks, buses, and light commercial vehicles
• Perform scheduled services and preventative maintenance
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs
• Use Isuzu diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer service guidelines
• Ensure all work meets Isuzu quality and safety standards
• Complete accurate job cards and service records
• Provide technical advice and excellent customer service
• Work efficiently to meet turnaround times

Requirements

• Qualified Mechanic with a Trade Test Certificate (Diesel / Petrol / Heavy Duty)
• Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience (Isuzu / commercial vehicle experience is a strong advantage)
• Valid driver’s licence (Code 10/14 with PDP is highly advantageous)
• Computer literate with experience using diagnostic tools
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
• Physically fit and safety-conscious
