Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • B Pharm
  • No experience required
  • Knowledge of current relevant legislation, including the Medicines and Related Substances Control Act
  • Financial management knowledge
  • Knowledge of good pharmacy practices
  • Knowledge of Medical Aid Scheme benefits, regulations and formularies
  • Knowledge of clinical pharmacy and antimicrobial stewardship
  • Knowledge of pharmacy systems such as UNISOLVE and AS400
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Ethical product knowledge
