Purpose of the Role
The Store Manager will be responsible for leading a store team to achieve key business objectives, including sales growth, cost management, stock control, risk mitigation, administration, and maintaining world-class store standards.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
Driving Sales Performance
- Increasing sales through excellent customer service.
- Maintaining high store standards and visual merchandising.
- Managing stock effectively and implementing promotions.
Stock and Risk Management
- Minimising stock loss through proper security measures.
- Ensuring compliance with stock and cash handling procedures.
- Promoting a positive and accountable store culture.
Cost and Administrative Management
- Managing operational costs in line with company objectives.
- Completing store administration accurately and on time.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Team Leadership
- Leading, coaching, and motivating store employees.
- Managing team performance and development.
- Creating a positive and productive work environment.
Store Standards
- Maintaining health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Ensuring the store consistently reflects PEP’s brand image.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Proficiency in English.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Willingness to work retail hours.
The following will be advantageous:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Retail, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of retail experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
