About the Role

The successful candidates will manage and enforce road traffic and public transport legislation, lead law enforcement operations, supervise personnel, manage resources, and ensure effective service delivery across traffic law enforcement units.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Basic Traffic Diploma
• Appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in:
  • Traffic Management, or
  • An equivalent qualification recognised by SAQA
• 6–10 years’ experience in the Traffic Law Enforcement field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Senior Provincial Inspector
• Valid driver’s licence
• No criminal record
• Must not have been declared unfit to possess a firearm in terms of the Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act 60 of 2000)

• Managing the performance of administrative functions and related operational duties
