 About the Role

RCL Foods is looking for a passionate and organised Route Controller to support daily logistics and distribution operations.

The successful candidate will report to the Distribution Manager and help ensure efficient route management, driver coordination, KPI monitoring and customer service delivery.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

Grade 12 certificate

Preference will be given to candidates with a recognised Supply Chain or Logistics qualification

Experience

Minimum of 2 years logistics experience

FMCG environment experience will be advantageous

Valid Code 10 driver’s licence

Ability to work independently

Strong leadership skills

Computer literacy in MS Excel and Word

Organised and systems-oriented

Ability to work under pressure

Self-motivated and proactive

Strong communication skills

Professional customer service skills

 Key Responsibilities

Manage logistics systems daily

Conduct driver debriefs for every route

Monitor distribution KPIs and investigate issues

Conduct quarterly route rides and analyse findings

Coordinate training for Salesman Drivers and Van Assistants

Investigate poor KPI performance and implement action plans

Handle customer complaints and queries professionally

Build and maintain stakeholder relationships

Ensure sound administrative practices
