Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be proficient in at least two official languages, one of which must be English
  • Have basic literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • Be able to read and write
  • Be willing to work extended hours when required
  • Have no previous criminal convictions or pending criminal cases

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning SAPS buildings and surrounding premises
  • Dusting offices and work areas
  • Polishing furniture and floors
  • Vacuuming carpets and mopping floors
  • Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
  • Removing refuse
  • Assisting with garden maintenance
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Washing state vehicles
  • Cleaning kitchenware and utensils
  • Handling cleaning equipment and materials safely
