Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen.
• Be proficient in English and at least one other official language.
• Be in possession of ABET Level 4 / Grade 9 / Standard 7 (NQF Level 1) qualification recognised by SAQA.
• Have basic literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Be able to read and write.
• Have knowledge of cleaning detergents and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
• Be able to operate basic cleaning equipment.
• Be willing to work extended hours when required.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of SAPS premises.
• Dust, polish furniture and clean floors.
• Vacuum carpets and mop tiled floors.
• Clean kitchens and bathrooms.
• Remove refuse.
• Perform general maintenance around the premises.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods.
• Carry out garden maintenance.
• Wash and clean state vehicles.
• Safeguard cleaning equipment and materials.

Various SAPS Stations and Offices across Mpumalanga
