 Minimum Requirements

Matric
Valid PSIRA Certificate (Minimum Grade C)
Previous security experience
Knowledge of access control, CCTV and alarm systems
Physically fit and able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

Driver’s license
Firearm competency for business purposes

 Key Responsibilities

Protection & Safety Operations

Safeguard employees, visitors, buildings, vehicles and equipment
Ensure safety and well-being of all personnel on site

Access Control & Visitor Management

Control and monitor access points
Regulate entry and exit of personnel and visitors
Manage traffic flow when required

Patrols & Surveillance

Conduct regular site patrols
Monitor CCTV, alarms and surveillance systems

Incident Response & Reporting

Respond to emergencies and security breaches
Use alarms or signalling devices when necessary
Complete incident and observation reports

Enforcement of Policies & Compliance

Enforce company policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with regulations
Support fire prevention and evacuation procedures

Equipment & Operational Readiness

Ensure all security equipment is functional
Report defects or malfunctions

Customer Service & Professional Conduct

Maintain professional conduct
Interact with staff, clients and visitors

Risk Awareness & Threat Identification

Identify suspicious behaviour and security risks
