Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Senior Registry Officer position is to render an effective registry service and retrieve information required by the Emergency Services Department.

Primary Functions

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing correspondence by opening and recording post.
  • Managing effective electronic and manual filing.
  • Ensuring the facilitation and implementation of resolutions taken in the office.
  • Monitoring an effective register.
  • Handling enquiries relating to approved reports of Mayoral Committee and Council meetings through a registry or archive of related documents.
  • Managing effective control of the registry.
  • Ensuring proper supervision of personnel.
  • Attending meetings as required.
