Job Overview

Pick n Pay is looking for energetic and reliable Shelf Packers to join our store teams. This entry-level retail position plays a vital role in ensuring shelves are fully stocked, products are neatly displayed, and customers enjoy a great shopping experience.

Position highlights:

• Job Type: Permanent / Part-time / Flexi (depending on store needs)
• Location: Various Pick n Pay stores across South Africa
• Department: Store Operations / Merchandising

Key Responsibilities

• Pack and replenish shelves with stock according to planograms and company standards
• Ensure products are neatly faced, rotated, and correctly priced
• Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and housekeeping
• Assist with receiving and unpacking stock deliveries
• Provide friendly customer assistance when required
• Report low stock levels and damaged products to the supervisor
• Work efficiently during trading hours and after-hours when needed

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent (advantageous)
• Previous retail or shelf-packing experience is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift stock
• Reliable, punctual, and honest
• Good customer service attitude
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Clear criminal record
