About the Store Man Role SANBS is recruiting a Store Man in KwaZulu-Natal to manage the efficient issuing, receiving, picking, packing, and administration of goods in the General Stores department.
This permanent position is ideal for reliable, detail-oriented individuals with Grade 10 and at least 3 years’ experience in a stores environment who can maintain a safe working environment and deliver excellent internal customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake picking, packing, and issuing of materials to departments
- Ensure all incoming stock from suppliers is received and counted correctly
- Adhere to all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) requirements and maintain a safe working environment
- Perform General Stores administrative duties effectively and efficiently
Requirements
- Grade 10 (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Stores / Warehouse environment
- Knowledge of stores procedures, picking, packing, and issuing
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation
