About the Technician: Maintenance Role Clover Gqeberha is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Technician: Maintenance to ensure high reliability of allocated UHT filling lines.

This permanent position involves fault-finding, root cause analysis, maintenance scheduling, services, and strong collaboration with maintenance and production teams. It is ideal for a proactive, technically strong individual with a relevant trade qualification and experience in UHT or packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities Maintain Filling Line

• Perform fault finding and troubleshooting
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement preventative actions
• Develop and revise maintenance schedules
• Plan and execute services and planned work
• Ensure relevant spare parts are kept in stock
• Ensure parts availability for services

Ensure Communication

• Provide daily reports
• Complete breakdown after call-out reports
• Share lessons learnt with the team
• Lead service on allocated lines
• Report on major stops and required actions
• Complete job cards and schedules

Conduct Ad-Hoc Activities

• Work safely and report unsafe conditions
• Participate in standby roster and overtime as required
• Provide weekly technical training

Requirements

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processes
• Advanced Computer Literacy
• Valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence
• Willingness to work in confined spaces
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
