Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Valid PSIRA Grade C Certificate
• Previous security experience
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV, and alarm systems
• Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills
• Ability to manage conflict professionally
• Physical fitness and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Advantageous

• Valid driver’s licence
• Firearm competency for business purposes

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Protect employees, visitors, buildings, vehicles, equipment, and assets
• Monitor and control access to premises
• Conduct routine patrols and monitor CCTV and alarm systems
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents
• Prepare accurate incident and occurrence reports
• Enforce company security procedures and policies
• Support emergency response, evacuation, and fire prevention procedures
• Ensure security equipment is operational and report defects
• Deliver professional customer service to staff, clients, and visitors
• Identify and report potential security risks and suspicious activities
