Job Description

Tiger Brands is looking for a Cashier based at Albany Bakery – Port Elizabeth Depot. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for candidates with Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification and at least one year of cashier experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and counting drivers’ deposits, reconciling cash and assisting with daily banking activities.

Main Function

The Cashier will be responsible for counting drivers’ deposits and money received, liaising with Fidelity Guards regarding deposits, and balancing daily deposits received against the receipt book.

The successful candidate will need sound knowledge of basic counting and accuracy. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and public holidays. The position is quick and highly pressurised due to the amount of cash banked daily.
