Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12
- A recognised 3-year qualification in:
- Public Administration
- Fleet Management
- 2 years experience in a transport environment
- Valid driver’s licence

Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
Fleet and Vehicle Management
- Checking vehicles after trips
- Issuing trip authorities
- Coordinating official trips
- Issuing vehicles to staff
- Ensuring vehicles remain clean and roadworthy
- Planning vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Conducting vehicle inspections
- Monitoring service schedules
Driver and Transport Administration
- Overseeing drivers
- Managing car keys and petrol cards
- Checking PDP expiry dates
- Managing overtime for drivers
- Conducting performance evaluations
- Managing leave and attendance
Financial and Administrative Duties
- Filing petrol slips and invoices
- Reporting lost petrol cards
- Preparing fleet reports
- Attending management meetings
- Requesting repair quotations
Staff Development
- Conducting mentoring and training
- Supporting in-service training programmes
- Assisting with development planning
