Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or Transport/Logistics would be preferable
• 2 years’ experience in distribution and within a Supply Chain environment

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Audit daily kilometres to ensure adherence to standard kilometres
• Generate and compile Transport/Trunking reports, including on-times, turnaround times, store late openings, temperature and accident reports
• Provide information to stores and Distribution Centres for query resolution
• Conduct vehicle audits according to the Transport/Trunking Assessment Audit
• Process proof of delivery returns and ensure process compliance
• Ensure corporate governance requirements are met
• Provide input into the 1-year Transport/Trunking operating plan
• Provide input into the Transport/Trunking budgetary process
• Assist with the end-to-end customer service process
• Support process compliance and achievement of customer service levels and KPIs
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and legislation, including OHASA and the SHE programme
