ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

RCL Foods is looking for a motivated and hardworking Van Assistant to join its operations team in Tzaneen. This permanent opportunity is ideal for candidates with Grade 12 who are physically fit, reliable and able to work in a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Stock Generation

• Assist the Driver Salesman in transporting goods as directed
• Drop and collect bread crates as required
• Maintain strict control and security of all goods collected, transported and delivered
• Ensure minimum losses through careful handling of stock and equipment
• Assist with loading, unloading and movement of stock
• Transport unwanted items to recycling centres or refuse sites when required
• Perform heavy lifting and stock handling duties

Administration

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure vehicles are secured after use
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Support stock movement between locations
• Assist with customer and shop-related collections and deliveries
