What You’ll Do
As a General Worker Stores, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our hospital’s supplies are managed efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Issuing and delivering stock to wards and other departments.
- Ensuring issue vouchers are returned to the warehouse for capturing and filing.
- Assisting with receiving, packing, unpacking, and storing stock according to standards.
- Rotating stock using the “first in, first out” principle.
- Supporting Supply Chain Management (SCM) staff with stock takes and general office duties.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, neat, and compliant with safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate with:
- Minimum Qualifications: Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience: Relevant experience in a warehouse environment.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit and healthy to lift heavy items (up to 50kg) daily.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and the capacity to work independently or in a team.
