Requirements
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 continuous years of experience in an Emergency Call Centre environment (call taking and dispatching).
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
Inherent Requirements of the Job:
- Ability to work shifts and overtime as needed.
Competencies (Knowledge and Skills):
- Proficiency in the CAD (CareMonX) system.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent planning, organization, and control abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.
Duties (Key Result Areas / Outputs)
- Ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality management of the shift or component in the Centralized Telecommunication Control Centre (CTCC).
- Manage overtime in a cost-effective manner.
- Oversee Human Resource Management, including training, development, and labour relations.
- Supervise and manage all administrative requirements.
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide support to colleagues and the CT Centre Manager.
