🔨 Duties & Responsibilities
As a Driver Operator, your duties will include:
- Operating specialized road construction equipment
- Loading and offloading goods and equipment
- Conducting inspections, maintenance, and reporting defects on machinery
- Completing log sheets for vehicles and machinery
- Applying safety and precautionary measures at all times
- Cleaning and lubricating machinery/equipment
- Grading gravel roads, re-gravelling, and shoulder maintenance
- Providing driving services:
- Transporting work teams, materials, and equipment
- Detecting and repairing minor vehicle problems (checking oil, fuel, tyres, water)
- Completing vehicle logbooks and trip authorizations
