🎓 Minimum Requirements

• Senior Certificate / Grade 12

• Basic qualification accredited with SANC (Diploma or Degree in General Nursing)

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse (2026)

• Ability to work independently and prioritise duties

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Provide clinical nursing care in line with professional scope of practice

• Promote quality nursing care and patient safety

• Implement National Core Standards and Ideal Hospital Realisation Framework

• Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors and multidisciplinary teams

• Plan and organise own work and supervise support staff

• Uphold Batho Pele principles and patient-centred care

• Manage resources effectively within the assigned unit
